The smallest house at Desa Kayu, and the one that started it. A single king-size bedroom on the upper floor, air-conditioned for sleeping and open-air for everything else — the outdoor bathtub, the sunbeds, the coffee on the terrace looking straight over the paddy.
Built from the same reclaimed timber as the rest of the village, Ulin keeps things simple: a full kitchen, a proper coffee machine, and a 65″ TV for the rare evening you'd rather stay in.

- Mosquitoes and geckos come with tropical indoor-outdoor living, especially at sunrise and sunset.
- There's ongoing construction on a neighbouring property, which can mean daytime noise.
