A working village, a private garden, room to actually gather
Desa Kayu isn't only four houses to sleep in. It's a small footprint built for retreats — yoga, breathwork, workshops and team offsites — run in a garden setting instead of a conference room, with the houses themselves as accommodation for the group.

One room, ready for very different groups
The shala is a genuine multipurpose space, not just a yoga room: a projector for slides and presentations, mats, bolsters and props already on site, and a layout that flexes from an intimate circle to a full room depending on what the session calls for — team-building, a yoga class, a breathwork practice, sound healing, whatever the group needs.
Step outside and there's a private garden for the parts of a retreat that don't happen on a mat — circle time, breaks, informal conversation — with two toilets serving the shala and garden directly.
From a single day to a long-term residency
However long you're planning to be here, Desa Kayu scales with it — tell us the shape of your group and your dates, and we'll build the stay around it.
Day Retreat
Drop in for a single day of practice, workshop or team session, using the garden and shala without booking a room.

Long-Term Stay
